About Ingrid K. Blomquist, MD

Dr. Blomquist is Board certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. She was elected a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. 
 
Her Medical School training at ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ Medical School was followed by an Internal Medicine Residency at ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ Medical Center and Infectious Disease Fellowship at UCLA-Harbor Medical Center. She has practiced General Infectious Diseases at ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ since 1987.  Positions she held at ²ÝÁñÊÓƵMC include Associate Professor of Medicine, Chief of the Division of Adult Infectious Diseases, Medical Director of Antimicrobial Stewardship for ²ÝÁñÊÓƵMC, Director of the Global Service Pathway, and Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacotherapy and Outcomes Science.   Her Infectious Disease special interests include fungal infections and deep head and neck infections.
 
She has participated in Internal Medicine Resident education and as Associate Program Director developed the International/Mission Elective, the Internal Medicine Residency Mentor Program, and the  Global Service Pathway.
